How to measure the impact of your business presentation for real 📈+ what matters to your audience

How do you usually feel after a high-level presentation at work?

Do you feel you deliver or that something is missing?

Most high-level executives I talk with often believe they fail their presentations & feel frustrated & disappointed. 😖.

You may not have had proper presentation training at school or university, or you have not had any at all.

Then, work & busy schedules leave no time & headspace for working on your skills. Ta-da!

That’s where I come into play. 🙋

One of the first things I work on with my clients is measuring the impact of their previous presentations.

Analysing what happened & why is a healing process & takes away the trauma.

But how can you measure your impact?

✔ First, you must reflect on how things literally went

during the presentation. Was your Powerpoint on point & to the point? Did the equipment work? Did you say what you had to say? It’s about what you give to your audience.

✔ The second level is about what your audience receives.

Did they understand what you said? Was it engaging? Did you persuade them to buy it? How did your sayings make them feel?

✔ The third and most crucial level of impact is action.

Did you have a clear goal for your presentation? Did you achieve it? What did you want the audience to do next? Did they do it or plan to do it?

You see, triggering the right action is the ultimate destination for any presentation. Data & graphs are the means. Your Powerpoint slides, too.

What matters the most is whether you succeeded in making your audience do the stuff you wanted them to do.

That can be making an important decision, buying into your project, or approving a plan you crafted.👌

Next time, spend your reflection & introspection time wisely:

think about these 3 levels of impact & realistically assess how you performed.

If you’ve been on that emotional rollercoaster, it’s time to sit back, relax & change your approach.

I can help you with that, as I’ve already done with many high-level professionals like you.
